WHATCHA READING WEDNESDAY

This week we feel like we've had a slight change of pace in less of the sexy times and more of the real world + life is hard situations. Even though this is the fastest way to get into a soul shattering book hangover, we definitely love it! Here is a bit of what we've been doing and what we are looking forward to!

We mentioned previously and really liked Sisterland by Curtis Sittenfeld and The Hole in the Middle by Kate Hilton...so it is definitely safe to say that this week's The Runaway Year by Shani Struthers falls into this same category of Chick Lit that is much more about a woman finding herself and what she wants in her life than technically a man. That happens too, but it is completely secondary...and that is nice every once in awhile! Yes! And don't forget the added British flavor of this one--English cottages and countryside, and slang--it's good stuff! On the more normal side of things, I was really, really excited to read Baby & Bump by Brooke Moss and we really enjoyed it...it was another good one of a woman figuring out what she wants and stepping up to the plate for herself, and not what everyone else wants her to do and be, but was a little bit more carefree than what we've been doing. And don't forget funny, Court. It was funny. The mom in Baby &Bump just cracked me up. All of these chick lit novels were really good reads--you really cannot go wrong with any of them.

I finally caught up to Shel on Forever Too Far by Abbi Glines. It was definitely not as shocking as book 1 in that series, but it made everything feel complete, and has me looking forward to more of Woods and Grant the everyone else in Rosemary. Agreed--it was a like the cherry on top of the sundae, the perfect ending to the Rush and Blaire story.

The epicness that I'm currently reading and Shelley is done with...after quite a few profanity laced texts & tweets (don't worry, that TTT will be great!) is Killing Sarai J.A. Redmerski....and oh my cow, it had it's hooks in me at 3% so I will probably be one chaptering the heck out of it all night...OMGOSH!!! It's my new favorite. I totally harassed the writer on twitter because I was freaking out about how much I liked it. Y'all have got to read that one! It's not what I expected at all and it's really, really good. A must read!

Next is Losing Hope by Colleen Hoover. So I am very glad that Shelley read Hopeless the other day....I think I am prepared to cry and be heartbroken again...we will see! I swear I'm going to have to dive into some Kristen Ashley comfort zone after this one because I know it's going to get to me.

We hope that you guys are reading some great stuff too! If you have a MUST READ, please let us know what it is and we'll put it on our TBR list.
