REVIEW: The Wallace Girl by Eliot Scott

The Wallace Girl by Eliot Scott is LIVE and on sale for #99cents! Grab yours today! Don't forget to pre-order The Sinclair Heir!

OUR REVIEW:

Falcon Crest or Dallas anyone? Am I dating myself with those references? Bueller? Bueller?! ANYONE?
Well if you're unfamiliar with those nighttime soaps then you missed out on some prime time intrigue with your grandma, at least that's how I remember it. But never fear, Eliot Scott will give you an idea of the scandal, drama, lust, and love that harkens back to those old soaps.

The Wallace Girl will draw you in with its tale of young love, tons of family drama and secrets, and some cruel and vicious villians. It's a story told from both Alex and Jojo in both present day and from their high school days and you just cannot help but wonder what's going to happen next, when more secrets will be spilled, and how they'll get out of the seemingly terrible limbo they're in right now.

I'm absolutely certain more secrets, lies, deceits, and hardships are coming before we get the HEA I really really want for these two. And luckily for us all, the wait won't be long at all! In the meantime, cue up some of those old nighttime soaps and cue the drama!

The Feud Series: The Wallace Girl & The Sinclair Heir
A steamy adult romance saga
By Eliot Scott
(Eliot Scott is the writing duo of bestselling authors Anne MacFarlane-Eliot and Ginger Scott)

* The Feud Series is an adult/coming-of-age, enemies-to-lovers romance and contains mature themes not suitable for readers under 18*

Blurb:
A hate that spans generations.
A brutal fight over who owns the land, who controls the water, and who can destroy the most lives.
A love doomed from its very beginning.

When Alex Sinclair first spots JoJo Wallace on the shores of his favorite lake, he doesn’t know about his family’s sordid past and how it weaves in and out of the Wallace line. He doesn’t know that she’s the girl who will own his heart completely. And he can’t imagine the torture he’ll be forced to put her through and the poison he’ll unleash.

She’s a spitfire soul with wild auburn hair—a girl that will haunt his dreams and rule his future. He’ll do unspeakable things, and the consequences will have the power to end a century-long feud.

To end her.

But JoJo was born just a little different than the other Wallace men and women. She was born to love big and see all that’s good—the good in Alex. And when she comes back to take what’s hers in the wake of Alex’s father’s death, she’s no longer the innocent, naïve girl the Sinclairs
have long underestimated. She’s a fighter.

And she isn’t leaving until she ends it all—for good.

REVIEW: Getting Played by Emma Chase

GP - BT banner.jpg

Getting Played by Emma Chase
Release Date: October 8, 2019

OUR REVIEW:

Shel: Let me tell you about reading Emma Chase novels.

Shel: You pick one up with enough time to read a chapter and it's never enough time, ever. So then you find yourself trying to negotiate with your schedule to see if there's any way possible that you can ignore everything in your life until you can get to the end. You're reading at every moment, sneak reading when you should be working, and putting off today what you can do tomorrow to get back to the book and to the HEA that you know is coming. Court: That is an 100% accurate description of how my day reading this book went!

Shel: This is my experience with every Emma Chase novel and since it had been a while since I've read her, I foolishly thought I'd be able to dole the reading out this time. HAHAHAH. Nope. Getting Played is addictive and impossible to put down. Lainey and Dean's story is heartwarming, sexy, fun, and funny. It includes many of my favorite things--unexpected surprises, moments that'll make you laugh until you shake the bed, characters you actually would like to be friends with, and an oh shit moment that sucks but isn't drawn out too long, and secondary characters we've met before and are so happy to see again. Court: YES! I really liked all of the twists and turns that was their journey in this story. I liked their characters and had fun in both of their heads. I too am ashamed to admit it has been way too long since I've devoured her books, and I have to say I regret it. I need to find out if there's been anything I've missed out on because Emma Chase books are such a joy to read every single time.

Shel: I love this couple and this cast of characters and I am hoping against hope that we get more stories from this crew. Court: I am too. Even if it is in the form of Grams and the Widower Anderson, I'll take it... ;) lol!

Getting Played, a magnificent new romance by New York Times bestselling author Emma Chase.
Dean Walker is all about keeping life simple. He’s effortlessly talented and intelligent—spending his summers playing drums in the local band and the rest of the year teaching high school in the same Jersey town where he grew up. He likes his love-life simple too, enjoying the commitment-free hook-ups his good looks and sexy charm have always made oh-so easy.
Then he meets Lainey Burrows. And his simple, easy life gets turned upside down.
***
One wild one-night stand was all it was ever supposed to be, so Lainey is shocked when she discovers that her sizzling summer fling is also her son’s new math teacher. But that’s nothing compared to the most unexpected twist of all—their hot hook-up left Lainey knocked-up, and now they’re about to become parents. Together.
What ensues is an addictive, insatiable, sweet and tender romance that won’t be simple, but it will be more than worth the fight.
A stand-alone, contemporary romance.

Excerpt:
Dean
I find Lainey in the living room—standing on a ladder, with those long, toned legs peeking out from itty bitty cotton black shorts and a power drill in her hand, while Bruce Springsteen sings “I’m Goin’ Down” from a speaker in the corner. And, dear God—the things I could do to her on that ladder. Wonderful, filthy things that instantly make my heart pound and my cock throb. She’s the perfect height for me to just walk over there and put my mouth between her legs. I picture it, see it in my mind—the way she’d grip my hair and pant my name, arch her back and writhe against my face . . . But then I catch sight of the small bump of her stomach, and reality smacks me in the head. I think about the baby—and how making Lainey lose her mind three feet off the ground wouldn’t be the safest option. My protective instinct overrides the desire to get freaky on the ladder. “Hey, Dean.” She sets the drill on the ledge and picks up a beeping light green rectangle, running it along the wall. “What are you doing up there?” I ask. I don’t have a decorative bone in my body, but the room looks good—with light gray walls and navy corduroy covered couches, reclaimed wood tables and a dozen different-sized candles filling the white-washed brick fireplace. It’s clean and simple but warm, the kind of place you’d look forward to coming back to every day. “I’m going to hang up those boards.” Lainey gestures to three square planks, with ornamental arrows burned black into the wood. “I just want to make sure this stud-finder works.” “If you’re looking for a stud,” I wink, “I’m standing right in front of you.” “Ha-ha. I’ll keep that in mind.” She turns back to the wall, reaching up over her head and stretching onto her tippy toes on the narrow step. I move under the ladder to catch her if she goes ass over end, and a stab of terror slices through me at the thought that Lainey would still be doing this if I wasn’t here. Alone. Without Jason even in the room in case something went terribly wrong. What the hell is up with that? “I read that you’re not supposed to reach above your head when you’re pregnant.” “That’s just an old wives’ tale.” I wrap my hands around her hips, holding her steady. “Maybe the old wives knew what they were talking about. Come on, come down.” Slowly, Lainey lowers her arms and turns in my hands. I lift her off the ladder by her hips, tilting my head back and holding her above me for a moment, before sliding her slowly down. And the feel of her softness rubbing against me, the friction—it’s fantastic. When her feet are on the ground, I dip my head and our faces are just millimeters apart. Close enough to count the sprinkle of cute, light freckles that dust the bridge of her nose. “That’s better,” I say softly, taking the stud-finder out of her hands. “I’ll do it.” “Okay.” Lainey’s tongue peeks out, wetting her bottom lip. “Thanks.” Like I said . . . fucking killing me.

NEW + REVIEW: Twisted Marriage by Alessandra Torre

Twisted Marriage
by Alessandra Torre
Cover Designer: Sommer Stein / Perfect Pear Creative Covers

OUR REVIEW:

Twisted Marriage continues where Filthy Vows left off. Elle and Easton are at it again...in all the ways we want them to be. They're smokin' hot in the bedroom...kitchen...couch....and they're hilarious in between. Their banter captures married life so well and I found myself smiling at so many things they said (I've felt or said many of those things in my own marriage). I also thought their worries and the way they'd snap at each other felt authentic and realistic--while I haven't been in their exact situation, I could see myself reacting in similar ways. Additionally, I liked that these characters didn't have all of their woes suddenly resolved and magically disappeared--their financial, friend, and work concerns were relatable for so many of us.

And certainly not to be overlooked, Brad and Julia DeLuca make an appearance and it was perfect. I suddenly found myself wanting to reread their books and relive their crazy romance; gosh I've missed them so much and I didn't even realize how much until I found them a part of my book world again.

Truly, I can understand why Alessandra Torre won't write a kazillion books in the Elle/Easton universe because she's always challenging herself to write something different and I LOVE that about her. But daaaang what I wouldn't give to revisit this cast of characters every once in while--it was a delicious escape from the usual and I could not put it down. I absolutely LOVE this couple; they feel authentic and like something I really haven't seen before. As a matter of fact, this two book series feels really fresh and young and fun and it's exactly why I love Alessandra Torre and what she writes. I never feel like I'm reading the same book with a new title--it always feels like a new adventure.

Synopsis

We thought we could branch outside of the norm. Explore my sexual fantasies. Dip our toes in a kinky pond just to see how it felt.
But you can't have sex with your husband's best friend in front of him without consequences. Ripples in the pond. A subtle shifting of events and feelings and triggers that will eventually affect every core molecule of your marriage. Your friendships. Your life. Once I knelt down between the two of them, everything changed. And now, I'm faced with wading in deeper or drying off my pink manicured toes and trying to pretend it never happened. They say that three is a crowd, but what about four? What about more? This is the truth of what I started when I confessed my desires and he gave them to me. *Twisted Marriage is the sequel to Filthy Vows.

EXCERPT:
Alex hasn’t run away. Not yet. His brow crinkles and his gaze lowers away from my face when I stop only inches away from him. “We’re Wallaces…Sinclairs…oil and water. Enemies. You can’t love me, Jojo. It’s impossible. After what I’ve done, you can’t.”

“We aren’t enemies, Alex. We never were, and I don’t care what you’ve done.” My hand reaches slowly toward his heart. I press my fingers against him until my palm is flat on his white t-shirt, and my breath hitches with hope when he doesn’t pull away.

“That ring you gave me had a promise attached to it. The lure you gave me says forever.” I peer up at him, his height always so much more than mine, and my tongue dashes out to lick my bottom lip. “I’m here for that.”

His eyes are locked on my lips. I pull my bottom lip between my teeth, my mouth curving a hint of a smile as I shake my head, adding, “You once swore you loved me more than the sun. I know you still do. And I know it has to mean a lot to you that I never, ever stopped loving you.”

I place both hands against his chest, and I feel his thundering heart. Alex’s moan rumbles deep and near his heart before it escapes his lips along with my name.

“Jojo.”

Alex’s hands wrap around my wrists in an instant as though he means to tear my hands away from his heart, but instead, he just holds them, locking me to him. His eyes grow dark, and I can see the demons battling with the angels behind them.

“How you kissed me that night. How I kissed you back. Do you remember? Please, Alex. We’re both so tired, and my body hurts as much as yours does. Just kiss me, take me back to your bed, and let’s wash it all away. Please. ”

SNEAK PEEK: The Kingmaker by Kennedy Ryan

KINGMAKER SNEAK PEEK.jpg

“A dazzling, thought-provoking, layered romance that will keep you on the edge of your seat. A round of applause for one of the best books of 2019."

-- L.J. Shen, USA Today bestselling author

All The King’s Men Duet, an all-new powerful and emotional duet from RITA ® Award winning author Kennedy Ryan, is coming October 28th, and we have the first sneak peek!

KINGMAKER_FINAL.jpg

Power. Passion. Betrayal.
RITA® Award-winning author Kennedy Ryan delivers the epic first installment of the All the King’s Men Duet.

Raised to rule, bred to lead and weaned on a diet of ruthless ambition. In a world of haves and have nots, my family has it all, and I want nothing to do with it.
My path takes me far from home and paints me as the black sheep. At odds with my father, I’m determined to build my own empire. I have rules, but Lennix Hunter is the exception to every one of them. From the moment we meet, something sparks between us. But my family stole from hers and my father is the man she hates most. I lied to have her, and would do anything to keep her. Though she tries to hate me, too, the inexorable pull between us will not be denied.
And neither will I.

Sneak Peek from The Kingmaker

A fat raindrop plops on my nose, sliding down the bridge, followed by another and then a wet succession. “Aw, hell.” I pull my jacket up on my elbows to provide some shelter for the two of us, but the rain trebles, more coming down and faster. “We still have four blocks before my place,” I say. “Sorry, but the weather is unpredictable this time of year.” Rain has already started molding the thin dress to her body, faithfully hugging every swell and curve. A hard shiver runs through her and her teeth chatter. “Come on.” I grab her hand and duck into an alleyway. An overhang provides a tiny patch of dry ground and shelter. “We may be able to wait it out. These showers sprout up and pass over like they never happened.” We’re sandwiched between two buildings and there is barely any light, but the moonlight finds her, sculpting shadows beneath her cheekbones and etching dark crescents of her lowered lashes. The rain has smeared her mascara, and water-slicked hair flattens to her head. She should look bedraggled, but she manages to be the prettiest girl I’ve ever seen. I bend, tentative at first, even after last night. Even after making love to her again this morning when I chased her up the stairs. I approach slowly, giving her the chance to refuse, but she doesn’t. She meets me, eyes open, lips eager, hands bunched in my wet hair. It’s a freshwater kiss, made of rain and passion.

REVIEW: Beard With Me by Penny Reid

BWM-Blog Tour Banner.jpg

“This is Penny Reid at her finest.” -- L.B. Dunbar, author

Beard With Me, an epic and breathtaking story from New York Times and Wall Street Journal bestselling author Penny Reid, is available now!

KDP_BWM.jpg

OUR REVIEW:

Shel: Honestly, Penny Reid could write the ingredients on the back of a crackers box and I'd be begging someone to pick me to read it because I've enjoyed everything of hers I've read. So naturally, when I had the opportunity to read Beard With Me, I didn't hesitate. Court: Amen, thank you so much to Shelley to pushing me in her direction because we love her books, writing, and her!

Shel: Then I read the trigger warning and I paused. Court: Just a little.

Shel: And about 3 seconds later I jumped in with two feet. Court: Yes! Because...we've been dying for Billy's story for a lot of books now y'all.

Shel: Billy and Scarlet's 'prequel' is one that Reid says we don't have to read to be able to 'get' their upcoming novel but damn I'm glad I did. I feel like what I'll read about them next will make so much more sense and feel so much more meaningful because many of the blanks of Billy and 'Scarlet' have been filled in. I feel like I understand him so much more. I actually feel like I understand all of the Winston family members so much more because of the prolonged glimpse we get of them in this novel. Court: Yes. We know a lot more about what made them...and it really makes this story so much more meaningful. We love this family, and seeing where they came from helps us understand them all so much better. Young Cletus is still a riot, and their protectiveness they get from their mama.

Shel: While I can understand the trigger warning, I wasn't cowering by the end from the trauma but I did have a heavy heart and hurt feelings about how some things ended. Especially because the story of Billy and Scarlet is one part frustrating, one part sweet, and one part hopeful--their disdain for each other that turns in to respect and the excitement of a young love was just so fulfilling. Reid did not skimp on details--she took the time to really tell their story and make sure we could really understand where both Billy and Scarlet's heads are and I truly feel that it's going to make all the difference when we see them in their grown up versions of themselves and I can't wait. Court: True. It gives us the slow burn, and then gets us hankering for the next book to see just what will happen next. Torture of the best kind, right? I love being invested in this series, and the writing is so good every single time. These characters develop, and have hurts and so many feelings that they don't share with anyone...these brother's bond will melt even the hardest heart.

Shel: Penny Reid knows how to make us hurt so good and somehow have us begging for more, which is exactly where I am right now. Court: YES! I cannot wait for the next time we get to be in Billy and Scarlet's world!

No one is better at surviving than Scarlet St. Claire and making the best out of circumstances beyond her control is Scarlet’s specialty. In an apocalyptic situation, she’d be the last person on earth, hermitting like a pro, singing along to her CD Walkman, and dancing like no one is watching.
Scarlet is clever, Scarlet is careful, and Scarlet is smart . . . except when it comes to Billy Winston.
No one is better at fighting than Billy Winston and raging against his circumstances—because nothing is beyond his control—is Billy’s specialty. In an apocalyptic situation, he’d be the first person on earth to lead others to safety, overcome catastrophe, or die trying.
Billy is fearless, Billy is disciplined, and Billy is honorable . . . except when it comes to Scarlet St. Claire.
‘Beard With Me’ is the origin story of Billy Winston and Scarlet St. Claire (aka Claire McClure) and is just the beginning of their epic love story.

Excerpt

*Scarlet* “Do you want me to leave?” Yes. That would be best, a wise voice said between my ears. So of course I inhaled deeply and said as calmly as I could manage, “I thought we were going to go get firewood.” “Okay. Good.” “But then,” I blurted, flustered and irritated with myself for not speaking wisdom, “You should go. You can’t tell me carting firewood back and forth between your house and here is how you want to spend the last of your Thanksgiving weekend.” “I didn’t say it was.” He began making his way up the incline. “But you just said—” “How about we make a deal.” Billy dropped the kindling next to my little woodpile, dusting his hands off on his pants. “I’ll cart the firewood, and you sing.” “You want me to serenade you while we carry firewood?” He smiled, slow and easy as he walked to me and reached out his hand. On autopilot, I accepted it and allowed him to help me up. As soon as I was standing, his gaze moved from my hairline down to my nose, lips, and then chin, saying quietly, “I’ll take a serenade from you anytime.” Thunk ka-thunk. That was my heart. It had been doing the thunk ka-thunk quite a lot around him. I ignored it, because what else could I do? “And you’re not carrying the wood.” He tugged on my hand, pulling me out of my daze and past my tent. “I will too carry wood.” Struggling to find my bearings, I stumbled after him. “I can carry logs just fine.” “You’ll carry a log.” Billy fit his fingers between mine, pressing our palms together and grinning at me like he was waiting for me to argue and he couldn’t wait. Snapping my mouth shut, I glared at him. “Nothing to say?” Maintaining my glare, I walked next to him. I wasn’t being led anywhere I didn’t wish to go. Not anymore. He wasn’t talking me into anything else. “That’s an awfully mean look, Scarlet.” His grin grew, his brutally attractive eyes glowing happily as he peered down at me. “Well, you deserve it. Always trying to tell me what I can and can’t do. I’m not arguing with you about this. I’m carrying as much wood as I want and you can take your stupid, chauvinistic opinions and shove them up your pretty-boy ass.” Goodness. Where had that come from? Billy’s steps faltered and his mouth fell open, his eyebrows rising high on his forehead. He stared at me, looking shocked as hell. And then in the next moment, he threw his head back and laughed. But he did not let go of me, instead bringing my knuckles to his chest as his deep, rumbly laughter filled the empty spaces between the trees, surrounding us. Crushing me. Yes. I was well and truly crushed as I could only watch Billy Winston laugh, desperately basking in the image of him so delighted and relaxed. I had the odd sense that his laughter also filled the empty spaces inside of me, the neglected, vacant rooms, and even a few places that felt brand-new, like he’d created them. All that noble honesty he carried around like a boulder abruptly lifted, revealing him. Just him. Carefree and young and happy. Someone he might’ve been if his burdens hadn’t been so heavy, his responsibilities so broad. It lasted only a minute, maybe two, maybe less, but I had the sense of being caught afterward. Billy’s laughter had receded, but he’d spun a web while I’d been staring at him, holding his hand. His grin became smaller and he bit his bottom lip, his gaze dropped to my mouth. “You think I’m pretty?” “You know you’re pretty,” I said, bizarrely out of breath, rattled, needing to anchor my focus to a tree beyond him and waging war against the heat climbing up my neck to my cheeks. Oddly, my eyes stung. I blinked. His attention was still on me. I felt it, but I didn’t dare look at him. I couldn’t handle one of Billy Winston’s intense stares right now. He’d probably use my scattered wits to his advantage, talk me into something I shouldn’t want to do, and then I’d be kicking myself later. “What’s wrong?” he asked, his voice deep with concern, all trace of his earlier humor gone. I huffed, trying half-heartedly to steal my hand back from him. He didn’t let it go, instead taking my tugging as a signal to step closer, filling my vision. “Scarlet—” “Are you ever going to teach me how to play the guitar?” I closed my eyes. He didn’t answer right away, and I felt him hesitate, his mind work before he muttered, “It’s only been a week.” A quality to his voice made me think he wasn’t answering the question I’d asked, but rather he was reminding himself that it had only been a week since we’d struck the deal. Was that only last week? Why does it feel like so much has changed? Then he said, “Don’t be angry.” “I’m not angry.” I was muddled, my head and heart hurt, I was incredibly confused, but I wasn’t angry. The air shifted and I felt him move closer. A second later, the fingers of his free hand were at my ear, tucking my hair behind it, his fingertips lingering at my neck, sending wave after wave of goose bumps every which way. I couldn’t breathe. I couldn’t swallow. I couldn’t think. Every nerve in my body strained toward him and I didn’t understand it. What is happening? “Have you ever been kissed, Scarlet?”

Max Kaufman was kicked out of his home as a teen and his life has been an uphill battle ever since. From addiction and living on the streets, to recovery and putting himself through nursing school, he’s spent the last ten years rebuilding his shattered sense of self. Now he’s taken a job as a private caretaker to Edward Marsh III, the president and CEO of one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world. Max soon learns Marsh’s multi-billion-dollar empire is a gold and diamond-encrusted web of secrets and lies.
The longer Max works and lives with the Marsh family, the tighter the secrets tangle around him. And his heart—that he’s worked so hard to protect—falls straight into the hands of the distant, cold, and beautiful son of a dynasty…
Silas Marsh is set to inherit the family fortune, but his father is determined his heir be the “perfect” son. Before Silas can take over the company and end its shady business practices, he must prove himself worthy…and deny his true nature. Silas must choose: stand up to his father by being true to himself and his undeniable feelings for Max. Or pretend to be someone he is not in order to inherit everything. Even if it means sacrificing a chance at happiness and real love.

 OUR REVIEW:

Shel: You know we love us some Kylie Scott, and when she's got a character loosely affiliated with the Stage Dive crew?! Sign us up! Court: Amen, I love this world and am happy to keep right on living in it. I hope that we keep getting appearance of the guys and their wonderful women, even if just a little bit!

Shel: In this novella, we get to know Mae, a plus sized model who has a psycho stalker, and Ziggy, her new bodyguard--who happens to be hot af. There's so much to love about this quick read but I especially loved Mae's view of everything. She's funny and sweet and so completely normal--other than her job. Her mental drooling over Ziggy was hilarious and relatable and her coping through all things baking and chocolate was perfect. His stoicism and then his complete capitulation to his feelings for her was sweet and fun to read. Court: I could not put this down. I wish it was longer, but alas, we got a really full story in this novella and I enjoyed it very much. Mae and her friends, and her stylists are fire, and I really enjoyed how the characters developed and where the story went. This was a fun and quick read, but Kylie Scott keeps us coming back for more...especially with every little Mal appearance we get!

Shel: If you're looking for a quick read and a fun distraction, this novella is the perfect read for you.

NEW: Team Player 2 Anthology

TEAM PLAYER 2 ANTHOLOGY Release Date: September 23rd Genre: Contemporary Romance Cover Designer: Letitia Hasser, RBA Designs

OUR REVIEW:

Team Player 2 is a huge anthology jam-packed with novellas from some of your favorite authors and maybe even some new to you ones as well.

Between the two anthologies it seems like the vast majority of sports are represented--and it's not just the males who are playing this time! I love how these writers took it up a notch with including female athletes and even having women in nontraditional roles (hello Rochelle Paige and your novella!).

We also got to revisit a series or two that we've loved reading (Kennedy Ryan and Kate Stewart!) and get more glimpses of the characters we love...and one even gives us a cliffhanger (DYING!).

Additionally, I've enjoyed this anthology because it's introduced me to new authors and reminded me of a few I'd been meaning to check out...and now definitely will.

Grab this anthology--it's huge, diverse, and fun to escape into.

About Ella Fox: USA Today Bestselling Author Ella Fox has learned a bunch of stuff along the way but the most important of all those things is that anything is possible when you try. In 2012 she took a big leap of faith and published her first book, Broken Hart. Since then she’s written fifteen more full-length books and several novellas– and every one is a reminder that you can live your dream as long as you work for it.
Ella’s favorite things are music, movies, traveling, The Foo Fighters and, of course, reading. This isn’t a surprise considering the fact that her mom is USA Today Bestselling Author Suzanne Halliday.

About Emma Scott: Emma Scott is a bestselling author of emotional, character-driven romances in which art and love intertwine to heal, and in which love always wins. About Kate Stewart: A Texas native, Kate Stewart lives in North Carolina with her husband, Nick, and her naughty beagle, Sadie. She pens messy, sexy, angst-filled contemporary romance as well as romantic comedy and erotic suspense because it's what she loves as a reader. The founder and executive director of a foundation serving Atlanta families living with Autism, she has appeared on Headline News, Montel Williams, NPR and other media outlets as an advocate for families living with autism.

About Mandi Beck: Mandi Beck has been an avid reader all of her life. A deep love for books always had her jotting down little stories on napkins, notebooks, and her hand. As an adult she was further submerged into the book world through book clubs and the epicness of social media. It was then that she graduated to writing her stories on her phone and then finally on a proper computer.
A wife, mother to two rambunctious and somewhat rotten boys, and stepmom to two great girls away at college, she shares her time with her husband in Chicago where she was born and raised. Mandi is a diehard hockey fan and blames the Blackhawks when her deadlines are not met even though her favorite hockey player calls her…mom.

About Meghan Quinn: USA Today Bestselling Author, wife, adoptive mother, and peanut butter lover. Author of romantic comedies and contemporary romance, Meghan Quinn brings readers the perfect combination of heart, humor, and heat in every book.

About Rochelle Paige: I absolutely adore reading—always have and always will. When I was growing up, my friends used to tease me when I would trail after them, trying to read and walk at the same time. If I have downtime, odds are you will find me reading or writing.
I am the mother of two wonderful sons who have inspired me to chase my dream of being an author. I want them to learn from me that you can live your dream as long as you are willing to work for it.
When I told my mom that my new year's resolution was to self-publish a book in 2013, she pretty much told me, "About time!"

About Sara Ney: Sara Ney is the USA Today Bestselling Author of the How to Date a Douchebag series, and is best known for her sexy, laugh-out-loud New Adult romances. Among her favorite vices, she includes: iced latte's, historical architecture and well-placed sarcasm. She lives in the Midwest, collects vintage books, art, loves flea markets, and fancies herself British.

About Teagan Hunter: I’m a Missouri-raised gal, but currently live in North Carolina with my US Marine husband and 9-year-old dog. I spend my days begging him for a cat, and I survive off coffee, pizza, and sarcasm. When I'm not writing, you can find me binge-watching various TV shows, especially Supernatural and One Tree Hill. I like cold weather, buy more paperbacks than I'll ever read, and I never say no to brownies.
Writing is my passion, and this is just the beginning of my journey.
