REVIEW: WITH A TWIST BY SAWYER BENNETT

Last Call Series, #4
Adult Contemporary Romance
Release: January 6, 2015

Amazon | iTunes | Barnes and Noble

Wyatt Banks is ready to give one woman the world. Unfortunately, his job as a cop tends to interfere with other goals. When Wyatt is sent deep undercover to investigate a sex slave ring, he doesn’t have time to do anything but focus on staying alive in a dark and dangerous underworld.
Wyatt isn’t alone though in his quest to save the women that are being sold into sexual slavery.
His partner, FBI Agent Andrea Somerville, is immersed just as deeply as he is, and she’s the bait to lure the sex slavers out into the open, as she poses as an erotic dancer in an attempt to snare the enemy. But danger runs as high as the sparks between them, and now Wyatt is caught between the job he loves and the woman he wants.

WITH A TWIST can be read as a stand-alone novel.

Court: So...What. Did. I. Just. Read. OH yeah? That was one of my faavooorrrites! A) Cop B) Undercover C) Strippers D) High intensity romance in the setting of an undercover operation

Court: You guys...

Court: I realize it isn't that far into 2015, but guess what. I declare this an INSTANT FAVORITE! Will be on one of my top favorites of the year, I declare. Because, I loved the story, I of course as always love Sawyer's writing, and this is the most important...so please pay attention...best. blowjob. scene. ever. Shel: Hahahahaaa. I love this enthusiasm. And Court's right--this is a great way to start our reading for 2015.

Court: Wyatt is hard guy to read, because he doesn't (unlike me) wear his heart and emotions on his sleeve. He does whatever it takes to get the job done, and while that is scary in this situation...I had to admire that. He is a great cop, and an even greater friend to his posse (I loved the little cameos of our favorite characters). Andrea is also a favorite because she has her dreams, and she isn't going to let anyone or thing get in her way. She is a badass FBI chick, and definitely can hold her own in the most precarious situation. The two of them together is dynamite in these pages, and I loved every page. Shel: I loved Wyatt--he seemed like a really great guy, you know? He was a great cop and a great friend and I really loved that he wasn't about playing games. He knew he wanted a REAL relationship and he wanted to be respectful of Andrea and her wishes too..and I loved that Sawyer didn't make him some alpha guy who steamrolled over everyone. And Andrea? Well I loved her because she was so strong. She took control of situations and didn't wait for someone to tell her what to do or feel. These two were great together. (Sheesh..can I say "really", "great", and "love" any more --gah!)

Court: So, I think that you should take our endorsement to heart. You can start with this one, but the Last Call series is definitely waiting for you to embrace every single one. With a Twist has so much that I loved. #nailedit

Shel: This novel definitely has everything you'd want in a contemporary romance: characters who you'll love, a great storyline, and sexy, sexy times.
