BLOG TOUR & REVIEW: INFINITE POSSIBILITIES BY LISA RENEE JONES

Secrets and lies. They are everywhere: haunting her, tormenting her. In the midst of it all, he’d been her escape, her passion. The only person she’d trusted in six years. And then he’d made her doubt that trust, cutting her deeply. But as she’d once told him, she was damaged, not broken. She is ready to fight and not just for survival. She is fighting for the truth and she won’t stop until she has it, not even for…him

OUR REVIEW:

I wasn't 110% sure what to expect with this installment of the Secret Life of Amy Benson series after Escaping Reality...because with that one we pretty much did escape reality. It was a lot of fun, because obviously it is a definite escape from real life when you happen upon a stunning billionaire on a flight and it leads to well...more. That doesn't just happen, so we were hooked from page 1. Now though...I want to just say again that this book was effortless to read. I started it about 10:30 pm last night, and was quickly over 50% before I went to bed at 1. Now if that doesn't say where did the pages & time go I don't know what does.

This book. Addictive? Impossible to put down? Playing like a movie through your head? Keeps you up all night because you just HAVE TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS NEXT??? Yes. To all of those...yes. I didn't want it to end and when it did, I just wanted to have the next book loaded on my Kindle. Unfortunately the 3rd book doesn't have a release date yet...but hopefully soon?!!!

This time around, we start pretty much exactly where we left off in book one. Amy is on the run...again...still doesn't know who to trust or who is after her or why, but she knows one thing. She thinks she's been betrayed by the man of her dreams. Liam. Liam Stone is an amazing character, and while I had no idea still if he was a good guy, I sure wanted him to be. Skip forward a couple a months, and Amy has been hitching it around the south and is working in a diner in New Mexico. Note this as one of the many stupid things Amy does in this book!

I'm not gonna lie...I was so proud of Amy for running because it felt like she was protecting herself and I'm ALL for a woman taking control of a situation and taking care of herself --of course I hated the way she had to go about it but I understood her desire to go as far under the radar as possible. The thing that was infuriating about Amy was her inability to always trust her instincts about people. Her instincts have yet to fail her but she doesn't always follow them and the last part of the book had me questioning some of her decisions when it came to listening to what her gut was telling her.

Amy. Amy. Amy. Or whatever her name is! She really makes some incredibly stupid decisions in this book. I can see why, but oh my gosh...me yelling at my kindle raises some eyebrows from my husband and puppies about my sanity, and trust me I don't need any help in that department! Things start getting crazi-ER about halfway through, as if they haven't been already...and this whole thing is truly a rollercoaster ride all the way through to the finish!

Ahhh the rollercoaster...what a ride it was! But what about Liam? This guy is amazeballs in book one (until he wasn't!). We know he's got that delicious alpha male quality to him, the brains and the body...and of course limitless monetary resources....will he go after Amy? What are his intentions? What does he know? Is he good or evil? Hmmmm....I guess you'll have to read to find out! <insert maniacal laughter here>

So...of course you know that this isn't the end! And there is no release date in sight for Forsaken...I feel better about where we left things this time than I did after book one...so there is that. But I cannot wait to see what happens next. And still, with minimal information and about a thousand more questions this series has me captivated! :D Exactly, Courtney...I was totally enthralled with this book and will be squeeling like a preteen at a Justin Timberlake concert when the next book comes out!!! [She says that because she actually is going to be squeeling like a preteen at a JT concert next fall! LOL]

Courtney: 5 Stars
Shelley: 5 Stars
