Zoey Stranford might’ve had a crush on the sexy boy next door since middle school, but she’s a woman now, and that crush has turned into a full blown case of lust. So why is it that at twenty nine, her libido decides to ramp into high gear and the only thing she can focus on is the intensely sexy, scorching hot boy next door who is definitely not a boy anymore?

The only problem is that Zoey and Kaleb have been best friends for as long as she can remember. Not to mention, Kaleb and his brothers are working on buying Stranford land to build a new resort, and she’s more than a little hesitant about his intentions.

Kaleb Walker has had his eye on Zoey for close to twenty years, but never before has he considered taking their friendship to the next level, no matter how many fantasies he’s had about her over the years. That doesn’t explain why Kaleb is hell bent on having her – in as many ways as possible.

Kaleb finds himself in a precarious situation. His brothers have nominated him to pursue Zoey’s father about purchasing the land needed to get their new resort off the ground. Finding out that Carl Stranford is on the brink of foreclosure and Zoey might just lose her house and the land, Kaleb now has to convince her to put aside her pride and let him help her.

It doesn’t take long before the flames start burning bright and hot, and the two of them burn up the nights and the days as they explore each other’s forbidden fantasies. But can their friendship survive a business transaction or the new friends with benefits clause? Or will they realize that they’ve been overlooking something much deeper that’s been right in front of them all along?

So I just finished Kaleb and just...holy smokes, that was effing hot. Like panty my advice DO NOT read it in public. Review over.

Just kidding! I have so much more to say...because you know this wordy girl can't keep her mouth shut! (No comments, Shel!) I enjoyed Kaleb very very much. It was quite an introduction to this series, but I became obsessed as soon as I found out there are SEVEN WALKER BROTHERS. Can you even imagine knowing a group of brothers, they are all hot and amazing. Yeah, I would totally die a happy woman too, and since something like that is a freak of nature it probably doesn't really exist. So I shall stick to this fantasy land, and enjoy every word of it. And fantasy land it is...sheesh. I might die of sexiness overload before this series is over!

Kaleb is brother #3, and at 32 years old he is a prime piece of meat. He has been lusting after his best friend Zoey since he took her to prom...of course neither wanting to mess with their friendship and/or refusing to acknowledge of believe that they could possibly share the same feelings for one another. Then there is that whole pesky land thing, where the Walker business is wanting to build a resort of Alluring Indulgences...yeah...clever, right? It reminds me of This Man and Jesse's I can't wait for them to get that built...if Zoey's father will ever get on board for making their dreams come true.

Yep, Kaleb is a hottie. And he's part of a business that wants to buy Zoey's family's land. And has been lusting after his best friend for a long time. Needless to say this could be a cluster eff of epic proportions...and that whole land + lust + money thing definitely hovers in the background for a lot of the novel. But one thing I think is important to mention is that Kaleb is a considerate and kind person. He's constantly thinking of Zoey and how to make sure that she's happy and her needs are met.

Then Zoey has to content with the idea that she may just like/lust/love Kaleb. She is a woman scorned long ago, so she has accepted her best friend status. Yep, poor Zoey got a bad deal. Her douche ex-husband has left some lasting damage. She's managed to fill her life with work and taking care of her dad, but she's neglected her personal life for a while...until something her best friend says draws her attention and desire to her best friend Kaleb..and then it's game on!

But what of those rumors of Kaleb and his best friend Gage? Well, they get her fantasies working overtime, and create some seriously steamy, melt my kindle moments. Just read it. Whew. If you're into that sort of thing. If might pass. Re-read this paragraph and please pick up what I'm throwing down! Or read the warning label from Nicole herself...m/f/m encounters. Okay! Holy guacamole...this is not for the prudish readers in the world...and if that's not an understatement, I don't know what is!WARNING...IF YOU HATE SEX...ESPECIALLY ADVENTUROUS SEX...this may not be the book for you.

Kaleb again was more of a set up novel for me, with maybe not the most emotional and deep plots out there...but I enjoyed it very much, and cannot wait to see what is coming next in Zane. With Kaleb ending the way it did, I foresee it being insanely awesome! Agreed, Courtney. This was the perfect novel to introduce us to the various characters and plot points that must be forthcoming in this series.

Vanessa Carmichael will never forget that horrible day for as long as she lives. With Zane fully on the mend from the brutal attack he suffered right in her very own yard, she knows she should be grateful, which she is. She also knows that walking away from Zane might be the only way to keep him safe. Despite her denial, V knows she can’t trust her own heart, especially when it comes to the youngest Walker brother, but he’s not the kind of man who will walk away when there is something he wants. He wants her even if it isn’t safe for him, and she’s not sure she is strong enough to walk away.

Zane Walker might have been brutally attacked and after months in the hospital, walked away with his life spared, but now that he’s out of the hospital, he has only one goal in mind. Getting the girl. From the first time he kissed her, Zane knew V was the one for him. He also knew that getting her wasn’t going to be as easy as he hoped. She’s stubborn and the walls she has erected around her heart are nearly impenetrable. However, there’s one thing about Zane – he never gives up. And he’s not about to start now.

Can V learn to open her heart to the one man who is desperate to get past those walls she has erected, or will she walk away to protect him? How long will Zane allow her to deny what he knows is growing between them? Or is the only option to obscure the underlying emotions with spine tingling lust?

When V and Zane come together, smoke detectors go on the fritz, but when they bring Zane’s best friend Beau into the mix, extra fire extinguishers are needed.

So...I don't know if you caught my little tidbit up there about the hotness level of Kaleb? was freaking smoking. And if you can believe it, Nicole Edwards turned the temperature up another 1,000 degrees. Holy smokes. I wasn't sure how Zane was going to be able to compare at first. It started out a little bit slower, with much more plot. The end of Kaleb was set up for a pretty horrific event involving Zane, and so the first 30% of this novel is going through that event and the three months after. One million thousand percent agree with everything you just said, Courtney. I think I saw steam coming from my Kindle...and I thought Kaleb was hot. SHEESH.

It's no secret that the Walker boys are pretty far out there as far as their sexuality goes, so it is no surprise that Zane also does a little bit of inviting in the bedroom with his best friend Beau. Vanessa is all for it! But she does like the controlling side of Zane to come out to play quite often too! So I think we can both agree to tell you again, until you're sick of it...this book is smoking hot. Like you may need a cold shower or two for it. Seriously ;) . Seriously.

Even better for a serious plot, is the aftermath of the attack on Zane. Vanessa isn't dealing with it well. She may be able to shut off her PTSD long enough to get down and dirty with Zane and Beau, but it really is just distracting her from the real issues. I had a lot of reservations with her regarding if she would really take a real chance with Zane, or continue to be afraid and stuck behind the reputation that her mother had throughout her entire childhood. Vanessa is a complex girl! And I liked her. As much as Zoe shares with her, V doesn't really share at all. So it is a lot of fun to see her try to get Zane out of her bed and out of her mind. I didn't think that would stick, but you should definitely read it to find out!

Poor Zane...but REALLY?! poor V. She is tortured by what she witnessed. Not only is she tortured but she won't give herself an ounce of slack...she refuses to take it easy and admit her fears and so she pays, dearly, for it. Thank goodness for Zane. He's so tender and protective and absolutely refuses to allow her to go through this alone. Not only does he try to ease her PTSD  but he also wants to show her that not all men are shmucks. He pursues her hard...and shows her what a terrific guy he is. V struggles. She's had a less than stellar role model for healthy relationships and has a hard time thinking she wants/needs/deserves one. This battle of wills (him trying to convince her and her being dubious) was rewarding.

*Also, a note here, to be written before we dive into reading Travis. Thank freaking goodness for Nicole Edwards taking pity on us, and giving us a little bit of intel into what in the world is going on with Travis. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I told Shel she was going to freak out when she realizes how his story is gonna go down...and I cannot wait! Travis is one of the more silent and complicated of the brothers, and during Kaleb we really had no idea what was going on with him. Now we do...and it is going to be epic!*GAH. Travis!!! His story should be very, very interesting!

Travis Walker, the oldest of the seven Walker brothers, has been referred to as moody and mysterious, and for the most part, he would agree. Until recently, he spent his days helping his brothers run the family business. Now, he dedicates his time and energy to building a resort, Alluring Indulgence, that caters to fetishes and fantasies. And despite his attempt to work himself into the ground, Travis has never denied – at least not to himself – that something is missing.

Ten years ago, Travis made the hardest decision of his life, breaking his own heart in the process. A decade later, he is learning that life has a strange way of turning things upside down before placing the pieces exactly where they were meant to go?

So...whoaaaaa...I opened up Travis and had no idea how huge of a read it would be..until I looked down after an hour and had only read of it (I EXAGGERATE !!--but still...). So my first piece of advice is that you definitely want to make sure you have the time to dedicate to this book because it's a nice, looooong read. Just how I like them! Yeah! I didn't realize it either, but it went a lot faster than I thought, what with it being approximately 520 pages! O_O And if you haven't figured out by now...this book is just as down and dirty as the rest of them so beware if that isn't your thing!

This novel deviates from the Alluring Indugence threesomes in a way that was just begging to be explored in this series. Without going into spoiler mode, let's just say that we have some tortured souls here and some difficult choices about how to handle the hearts of the 3 people involved. The vast majority of this novel explores feelings of abandonment, loneliness, trust, and hope. second piece of advice? Patience and an open mind as our 3, YES 3!, main characters delve into these feelings (I KNOW it's titled Travis and YES! it's about his experience but I'd say it's also equally about the other two characters as well).

Sure, the title is Travis so I'll start with him. He was a complete enigma through the first two books. We knew next to nothing about him other than that he is surly, and grumpy, and does not share about himself. Ever. So obviously his brothers greatly enjoy making him crazier...but then when things start unfolding for him...we see a new Travis. A Travis that is enjoying his life and rethinking how he sees things in said life. It was great to see his transformation. As for how things go down with those other're might just be too spoilery to delve into it too much...but that sort of relationship is probably taboo for some, but definitely not for this series. All of our screamy caps up in the other two book reviews definitely applies here when it comes to the sexy times of this book! Wow. Just wow. How one woman can think of all that and form it into coherent sentences....WOW O_O! *Mind*Blown*

I loved getting some insight into Travis's parents--that was amazeballs. And I really liked how careful Nicole Edwards was with the emotions of these characters; it was evident that she wanted to allow each of them to honestly explore ALL of the feelings they had before they made any decision. And, OF COURSE, I loved seeing how Kaleb and Zoey, and Zane and V were well as the other smexy Walker boys. I too think that we had to have all 3 of their POV' that was great...and without the amount of adult like communication they had going on (and there were still a few misunderstandings) they would have been dead in the water. I liked that these strong alpha males put themselves out there to freefall together. While this installment didn't necessarily have as much external conflict as Kaleb and Zane did...there was enough internal conflict for everyone...and it was damn good!

I'm betting that either Sawyer or Ethan gets the next book in this series...leaning towards Sawyer...what do you think, Courtney? Sawyer. I predict Sawyer, because he was crazy present in this book, and we left off more with him. But my predictions are rarely
