The Godwicks Series is such a fun escape and The Pearl is a perfect addition to this erotic series. This particular novel focuses on the pairing of Regan and Arthur ....and a certain figurehead and his meddling ways.
This novel wastes no time getting into the thick of the story of Regan and Arthur and their forced pairing. I really enjoyed the roles each of them took on in the relationship and as the pages turned, their back stories and chemistry had me inhaling this novel in a matter of hours. In addition to their eroticism and love story, I enjoyed the continuation of using art as a unifying thread between all three novels. I also enjoyed Arthur's commentary on his parents and siblings and am hoping that there might be one more Godwick that has a magical story to tell.
