REVIEW: Major Love by Kate Stewart

Shel: Court and I enjoyed Anything But Minor so much that when we saw Major Love was next in the series, we jumped on it. Honestly, at the beginning it felt a little slow and I had a hard time figuring out who every one was, but once I got my bearings on how everyone was connected I was able to fully focus on the story and enjoy it...and enjoy it I did! Court: I had a moment of foggy memory too with April. Andy I was clear on, but had no idea all that was going on with April when I finally did realize that we did meet her before. I was very excited to get back in this world of baseballers, and like Shel said, it did not disappoint.
Shel: As with Anything But Minor, this novel has lots of hilarious scenes, lots of heat between April and Andy, and a fairly low level of angst...sort of. I think the thing that stands out to me is that rather than there being a big huge angsty moment, it was more of a low level angst of will they (or won't they) get their shit together and figure out a way to make a relationship work?! There were so many hits and misses between them. So many unspoken words. But finally, their HEA came and all the wondering, waiting, and hoping paid off in a full circle way at the end. Court: OMG, so much funny, so much heart, and I loved this one even more than the last one...which was a lot. April is hardcore with her job, and her strength and personality and I definitely thought Andy was up to the task to loving her how she needed to be loved, but with this heart being broken and all that...well, there was some moments I teared up just as Shel expected I would! I do not disappoint on that, and this book did not disappoint on all of the things we love in our books. I think that you should pick this one up...it doesn't necessarily have to be read after Anything But Minor but we highly recommend you go on ahead and grab both!
