FAVORITE READS: April 2016 Edition

I don't know that I've been as excited about reading as I was in April; it seemed like every book we picked up, we loved. This month was an absolutely stellar month of reading for us and we're excited to share some of our favorites. If any of these look good to you click on the book image and it'll take you Amazon for a synopsis and possible purchase. Happy reading, y'all!

Dirty was sexy and funny and had a whole bunch of honesty throne in the mix. Throw in Mal from the previous series and you have all sorts of things happening in this brand new series from Kylie Scott. We are excited to see what happens next in this series.

Court was so excited about this one that I could not resist it. I'm so glad I didn't. It's on the more grown up spectrum of YA and it's so deliciously irreverent and sweet and slightly wicked. We can't stop thinking about it and while neither of us wants to wish our lives away, July CANNOT come sooner.

We loved this series from the very first book and have been eager to see how Killian and Axelle would work out.  There's angst and love and more angst. LOVED IT. This series is coming to a close and while we're really sad about it, we're very much looking forward to seeing what J.B. will write next.

We love a man in uniform and a girl who knows what she likes. This novel is our second one we've read from Chanel Cleeton and it's making us all sorts of excited about the ones we still need to read and the ones yet to come out. If you like the idea of a hot pilot and a sassy business owner finding love in the most unlikely place, grab this one--you will not regret it.

I think Court and I are both firmly in agreement about many things, but especially this: Kristen Ashley never fails us. This continuation of the Colorado Mountain series features Deke and Justice and it was so emotional for me. Both characters had some baggage and reading how they worked through it felt honest and right. If you haven't read it or any of Kristen Ashley's books, run--don't walk--to the nearest store and get to reading.

I thought I loved this series and then I read this final book and now I know that THIS one is my favorite. I loved it. Between the theater aspect of it, the second chance at romance, and ALL of the characters featured, I absolutely adore everything about this angsty romance. I'm so sad that the series is over but I love that this is the book that ended it.

Phoenix is a continuation of the Bellator Saga and it's so emotional. It's raw and frustrating and honest and hard to read and Court and I love it--it may even be our favorite of the series so far. If you haven't started this dystopic political romantic suspense series, then you MUST. It's so good. It'll give you ALLLLLLL the feels--so much so that you'll feel compelled to message Cecilia London and give her your mind (do it, she loves it!!!).
