NEW REVIEW: The Fall of Legend by Meghan March

The Fall of Legend Release Day Blitz/Blog Tour Collateral
Release Date: November 12, 2019

OUR REVIEW:

The Fall of Legend reminds me of the early years of our current romance resurgence—it’s got that feeling of impending big drama and big romance but flipped-- in earlier years men were the all powerful and women were fighting to get a foothold in the power structure. Now, Legend is the one trying to gain power and Scarlett is the one who seemingly holds the power. I love it. Taking all the things that those books in the early 20-teens and modernizing it made it a fun read.

Another thing that made this a fun read? The humor. Take the first scene--it was an interesting mix of intrigue and humor—Bump is endearing and sweet and hilarious--and yet WTF was going on with someone being rolled up in a carpet?! I was officially hooked. I wanted to more of Legend and Bump and Scarlett.

Legend and Scarlett did not disappoint. He was broody and intense and on a mission to prove a few things or perhaps find redemption by being a success. She was confident and bright and had nothing to prove to anyone and I loved her for that ...and her business (what a brilliant idea, Meghan March!). I'm so ready to see how these two battle the obstacles that March is going to create for them.

This first book sets us up for the drama to come and I am so here for it--a furious ex, not so good family dynamic, and a public image to uphold on one side, and a past trying to catch up to a a present, a present that’s in economic peril on the other. And the most important: a fledgling romance that’s on shaky ground. Get to writing Meghan March, we need more of this brooding Legend and his lovely Scarlett.

About The Fall of Legend:

From New York Times bestselling author Meghan March comes a new deliciously dangerous alpha hero
in The Fall of Legend, the first book in the brand new and utterly addictive Legend trilogy.

We come from two different worlds.
I’m from the streets. She might as well live in an ivory tower.
I made my living with my fists. I doubt she could even throw a punch.
Our paths never should have crossed.
We never should have met.
That doesn’t change the facts.
I would sell my soul to taste those red lips.
Fight the devil himself to hear her laugh.
Burn in hell to have a single night.
Scarlett Priest shouldn’t even know men like me exist, but sometimes temptation is stronger than will.
If this is how I go down, it’ll be worth every second of the fall.
