OUR REVIEW:

Shel: Laurelin Paige did a fantastic job of making me really really dislike Heather for the first third of this novel. She was so judgmental and annoying that I had very little problem with Seth's small
deception...at first. Then as Heather changed, Seth's small deception bugged the hell out of me. I was so anxious--why wouldn't he tell her? Gahhh. I think I still have heartburn because of it. And as I suspected Heather did not take kindly to what he did...and I actually completely got where she was coming from. Needless to say Laurelin Paige had me flip flopping all over the place--hating and loving Heather. And Seth? He was always a good egg--maybe a little chickenshit when it came to coming clean about a few things but I always liked where he was coming from and how much he supported Heather's journey. Court: We really did hate her at first didn't we? LOL! She is a hard character to like, but thank goodness we were in both of their heads so that we could see thoughts and motivations behind the coldness to what lay beneath. I really enjoyed Seth as a character and knew things would blow up eventually, darn it. The story though is really good, especially the plays and how much I love Hollywood novels and seeing how they play out. In all honesty, we're so used to the guy being the one that is cold and closed off that it was refreshing that it was Heather that was this way and Seth had to work hard to thaw her out. He definitely lays his feelings out there for her and calls her out for being a bitch when she was one. I think that's why she didn't know what to do with him! Check this one out, it was really good! But also be warned that she ain't a kidding when she says our heroine has a chip on her shoulder.

Shel: This is a sweet, sexy, and quick romance. It pairs nicely with Take Two. Court: Laurelin Paige has sweet and sexy down to perfection, doesn't she!?

She uses her fame as a wall around her heart, and only he can tear it down.
Seth Rafferty knows Heather Wainwright’s type.
Demanding. Check.
Self-important. Check.
Leggy and blonde. Yeah, he knows the drill.
He’s been a Hollywood production designer far too long to have patience for A-listers with a superior attitude. Beautiful women with a chip on their shoulder are a dime a dozen.
Which is why his obsession with Heather makes no sense. Nothing about her is attractive.
Except the vulnerability under the sass. The honesty under the attitude.
So when wrap-party flirting gets carried away, Seth doesn’t stop it from turning into a sizzling night of passion. Too late, he realizes, one night isn’t going to get her out of his system.
On to plan B: uncover the real woman under the diva.
Soon Heather will find out that Seth isn’t just a simple carpenter she can use and lose without consequences. He’ll play the part of the builder, but it’s her walls he intends to break down.

About Laurelin Paige:

USA Today and New York Times Bestselling Author Laurelin Paige is a sucker for a good romance and gets giddy anytime there’s kissing, much to the embarrassment of her three daughters. Her husband doesn’t seem to complain, however. When she isn’t reading or writing sexy stories, she’s probably singing, watching Game of Thrones or The Walking Dead, or dreaming of Michael Fassbender. She's also a proud member of Mensa International though she doesn't do anything with the organization except use it as material for her bio. She is represented by Rebecca Friedman. Laurelin Paige
