Drake Baylor Jr. is being groomed to take over as CEO of Baylor Industries upon his father’s retirement. Although he was raised in an affluent household, his formative years were rough, leading to a string of bad decisions, and hard lived years. In order to take over as CEO, his father has given him a set of rules to live by for an indefinite period of time: No drugs, limited alcohol consumption, and absolutely no relationships whatsoever with women-his greatest weakness. If Drake can abstain from those three things, work hard, and gain his father’s trust, he can have the keys to the Kingdome. Drake meets Morgan on her first day at Baylor Industries, and the phrase “love at first sight” doesn’t even come close to describing what is felt between them. Their instant attraction is a magnetic pull that is stronger than either one of them can handle. Shelley is swooning over: Camden from Shooting Stars by Karina Halle

"I had to fight the urge to wrap my arm around her and bring her into me, to hold her close, tell her that I loved her, that I wouldn't let another thing happen to her. I'd take another bullet for her. I'd be there no matter what she chose, even if she wanted another lover, another life. I would still be there when she fell. When she wanted to run. When she wanted to come home."

COVER REVEAL: FOUR YEARS LATER BY MONICA MURPHY

ABOUT FOUR YEARS LATER (blurb subject to change):

Guilt. That is all I ever feel when I think about my mom. Now she's back in my life, always wanting something. Having her around makes it so easy for me to fall into those bad habits that get me into trouble. Skipping class, smoking weed, fooling around with girls that mean nothing to me...I'm messing up. The last thing I need is my sister on my case.

So I keep my mom's return a secret. But promising I'll get my grades back up on my own isn't enough. Fable makes me see a tutor. And Chelsea is the smartest girl I've ever met. She's definitely not my type but there's something about her that I'm drawn to. She's sweet, she's shy and she seems completely immune to my usual moves.

Chelsea has her own secrets and she's not talking. Like I have any room to judge. How can I get her to open up to me? And will I ever be able to convince her that what we have could be something real?

BLOG TOUR: WITHOUT BOUNDARIES BY C.J. AZEVEDO

Bailey Hayes moved across the country ten years ago after a tragic accident left her motherless. Distraught, confused and just sad, Bailey opted to leave the only life she has ever known to attend college at NYU. Determined to not experience the loss of a loved one again, Bailey keeps her one friend that she made as a freshmen in college. And that’s it. She dated during her college years but she never let anything really stick. Not trusting herself enough to give her heart and not get hurt she was satisfied with the life she led. That is until she met the handsome, confident and successful Hollister Harrison.
Bailey was swept off her feet instantly with his charm and charisma. Six short months of dating, she finds herself moving in with him. The minute she had her bags unpacked, the fun loving romantic she fell hard for was starting to dwindle away as he became unnecessarily possessive and borderline abusive. Bailey insists on making her relationship work in fear of repeating her past and making a haste decision by leaving too soon. On a weekend when Hollister is out of town, she meets a guy. A beautiful charming guy whom she feels an obvious attraction for, but also a unique connection with. The beautiful charming guy is none other than her running partner’s brother. Bailey finds herself in an oddly nice predicament.
The beautiful charming guy is none other than her running partner’s brother. Talon McAllister has chosen to dedicate himself to his family’s business his entire adult life. He adores his parents and his sister and hockey. Not leaving much time for anything else he has been single for years. Meeting Bailey Hayes changed his outlook. He wants her. He will do whatever he has to do to get her on the same page.
Finding out she lives with her boyfriend deters him from his mission of getting her to be his. But when she calls and asks to tag along on his vacation with his sister, he can’t help but get excited. When he picks her up and sees her bruised and battered face he figures “game over” he is going to show her how she deserves to be treated. By the end of their first day together alone, Bailey propositions Talon with a brief relationship without boundaries and no lines to cross. He’s in… all in.

Will this brief encounter without boundaries relinquish her twisted sense of loyalty to Hollister or will she walk away from her greatest love for fear of repeating her past?

An Excerpt from Without Boundaries:

I hear a soft “Come in” so I do just that. Bailey is stunning. She’s leaning over some boxes she has on a coffee table in front of a wall full of floor to ceiling windows. Her hair is pulled up on top of her head, she has on another one of those pencil skirts. This time it’s black with a dark purple button down shirt tucked in perfectly. She’s wearing heels that showcase the beautiful long tanned legs that I have been dreaming of for the past two nights. She has reading glasses on but not like the woman downstairs. Bailey’s look like they belong, and it is sexy as hell. The thought is having me take a deep breath to try and calm myself. She straightens up to see who is standing in her office and her eyes go wide. She looks shocked that it’s me standing here. “Talon,” she says breathlessly. I can’t make out the expression on her face. Maybe this wasn’t such a good idea…

An Interview with C.J. Azevedo

1. What was your favorite scene to write?

- Definitely the Epilogue as a whole. My fingers basically danced across the keyboard when I wrote that!

2. Which one was the most challenging to write?
-The physical abuse was nearly impossible to write. It’s Bailey’s story, but I had to give Hollister his voice. THAT, was a struggle. While they were acting out their scene on one side of my brain, the other side was screaming for her to get out of there, like I was watching a horror film. It sucked.

3. Who are some of your favorite writers?
-Abbi Glines, Jennifer Foor, Elizabeth Reyes, Katie Ashley, Aletha Romig and I could keep going but I won’t!

4. What books do you have in the works?
-I am currently writing books 2 (Without Doubt due out this fall) & 3 in the Without series.

5. If you weren't a writer, what job would you like to have?
I’m a mom above being a writer, so I would continue doing that, it’s more than a full time job!

COVER REVEAL: SYNCHRONIZED BREATHING BY TARA ELLISON

Synopsis:

Nothing announces the failure of one’s life quite as loudly as having to move back in with your mother at the ripe old age of thirty-five. Synchronized Breathing, introduces Scarlett Spencer in just this situation: her marriage has recently imploded and she’s headed for Beverly Hills—toddler in tow—to move in with her highly over-sexed mother, CeCe.
Having squandered her twenties having adventures and losing herself in men, Scarlett—out of desperation—leapt into an unsuitable marriage, but the best gift came out of that union—her son, Oliver. After successfully escaping that ‘Lemon Marriage,’ Scarlett struggles to put back together a life that was not very together to begin with. After being a stay-at-home-mother, Scarlett wades back into the Hollywood employment pool with hilarious results.
Balancing motherhood with the unique demands of Hollywood men provides a new twist on the dating dilemma—and living with one’s mother is not without its own set of challenges. With her robust sexual appetites and colorful parade of men, sixty-year-old CeCe has plenty of startling sex tips to share. After tiring of dating jerks, Scarlett goes on a self-imposed ‘man-diet’—which isn’t easy when your mother is perpetually on a manhunt—and in the quiet of a new man-less existence, she discovers what is really important in her life. Scarlett only finds her direction in life—and love—when she stops seeking to fulfill herself through other people (men).
Tara thinks of her novel as “A Single Mother’s Guide to Hunting and Fishing in Beverly Hills.” Synchronized Breathing was born after her own lousy divorce, during a very dark time when she thought the greatest luxury was to laugh. Her hope is that other women going through challenging times will be able to share a laugh with Scarlett Spencer and relate to her missteps on the path to love.

Take a look at this Excerpt:

“Every marriage is work, but the trick is to pick someone you actually want to be
married to.” Susan smiled at me.
Susan was my opposite in almost every way. Logical and levelheaded, her
pragmatic view of life was so foreign to me that I often thought she was speaking
another language.
“I’ll try to remember that for next time,” I said. “If there ever is a next time.”
“You gave it your best shot,” she said. “Personally, I thought you should have
bailed right after you found all those nude photos. You’ve been very tolerant, as far
as I’m concerned.”
“What photos are you talking about?” Autumn asked. “Why I don’t know about
this?”
“You’ve been away on location. Tell her.” Emma nudged me.

“One day, while I was using the computer, I stumbled upon his extensive nude
photo collection.”
“Of other women?” Autumn shrieked.
“No . . . that would actually make a certain amount of sense. They were all nude
pictures of him, but mostly just of his dick.”
I got up and put another log in the fire, as Autumn scrambled to reclaim her jaw
from the floor.
Stunned silence followed, so I pressed on. “His penis obsession was hardly a new
thing. After all, it was his most prized possession, but seeing the photos en masse
was a bit much. There were hundreds of pictures of his penis—chilling out in the
garden, lathering himself in the bath, erect penis checking the mailbox. It was nuts.
It was like that traveling Gnome series of photos—but each one featuring his dick in a new pose. Even his winking asshole made some artistic cameos!”
“Jeez . . . how on earth did he manage that?” asked Autumn, instantly intrigued.
“See . . . all that yoga pays off.” Susan’s quip sent Emma into hysterics.
“Hey, I’m not saying the guy isn’t creative! It’s amazing how creative you can be
when you have nothing to do all day but play with yourself.” I squeezed myself
back on the couch in between Emma and Autumn.
“Wow . . . I had no idea. I guess he’s not the total bore I thought he was after all,”Autumn said with awe.
“I just had less and less respect for him and that’s a very difficult thing to
overcome in a marriage, especially with all of our other issues.”
“So, what did you say to him?” Autumn was now almost bouncing out of her seat
with excitement.
“I asked him what he was doing with all the photos. He laughed and said he was
‘just having some fun’. He even turned one of the photos into his screensaver so
that twelve gleaming images of his penis greeted me every time I used the
computer. It felt like I was living with a teenage boy who’d just discovered the
pleasures of wanking and not a nearly-forty-year-old man. CeCe caught an eyeful
too. She was there when I found them.”
“What did she say?” asked Emma.
“She said she was underwhelmed.”
“And let’s face it, CeCe would know!” Susan said, sending Emma into another fit
of giggles.
“Wow. I had no idea.” Autumn continued to grapple with the news. “He just looks
so . . . vanilla to me.”
“That’s what all the gay guys do,” said Emma. “They send each other pictures of
their dicks! Do you think he flipped to the other team?”
“Who knows what he was up to? All I could think was ‘What am I doing here?’
I’m exhausted from nursing and caring for the baby all day and night while my
unemployed husband blasts music and dances around naked in the garden taking
pictures of his cock, like some demented elf.”
